SAEIT is the creation of some of the finest engineering minds from two of India's leading engineering institutions - the Public Sector engineering and manufacturing enterprise Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL), Tiruchirappalli, and one of India's most prestigious educational institutions, the Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IITM), Chennai.
Learn theoretical concepts directly from IIT professors
SAEIT offers a chance to make every engineering student's dream come true with theoretical concepts for the SAEIT programme being taught entirely by the renowned faculty of IIT Madras.
Become a modern engineering professional in just one year
SAEIT's unique one-year full-time Post Gradute Certificate programmes in Computational Engineering, Welding Engineering and Energy Engineering are designed to help bridge the gap between the skillset of a fresh engineering graduate and the growing expectations of modern engineering industry in the chosen area of specialization. Exposure to the latest concepts, processes, technology and tools is aimed at giving SAEIT students a significant edge in the context of a modern engineering environment.
Project Work under the guidance of IIT faculty and BHEL experts
Each student of SAEIT's one-year programmes works on a major engineering project of six-months' duration drawn from real life engineering scenarios under the guidance of IIT professors and BHEL's engineering experts.
Emphasis on sound theoretical concepts, development of analytical skills
The SAEIT course model places emphasis on giving young engineers an in-depth understanding of the theoretical concepts behind advanced and contemporary engineering concepts and techniques with special emphasis on developing the practical skills necessary to develop engineering solutions to real life challenges in the manufacturing and energy sectors of industry. Lectures and interaction sessions with renowned faculty from IIT Madras ensure that students develop sound analytical, reasoning and problem solving skills that will make them assets to modern engineering enterprises.
