| Method of selection of students |
| Selection will be made on the basis of (1) marks obtained in the qualifying degree course (2) marks obtained in the Entrance Test and (3) personal interview. |
| Only applicants who are shortlisted on the basis of (1) and (2) will be invited for the personal interview. |

| Separate Entrance Test will be conducted for each course |
| Candidates who have applied for more than one course should appear for the separate Entrance Test for each course applied for, on July 1, 2007 at IIT Madras |

| Interviews |
| Candidates shortlisted on the basis of marks obtained in the qualifying degree and Entrance Test will be invited for personal interviews which will be conducted at IIT Madras, Chennai, on July 1 & 2, 2007. |
